Proposal
Established in 2012, Sirkhane is the first and only Social Circus School in Turkey. Located in Mardin near the Syrian border, the school offers social and creative spaces for conflict-affected youth to explore art, music, and circus activities through workshops. A combination of administrative, educational, and performance spaces are united around an active central courtyard which functions as the main social space.

Offices, meeting rooms, and a kitchen space are located near the front entrance + parking area

Interior performance hall along the West side connected to exterior performance dome

Classrooms placed up the steps along the North side of the courtyard

A large double height space is placed along the South side of the courtyard and is connected to an exterior performance space
