ABOUT
ZAKA DESIGN STUDIO
ZAKA Design is a Los Angeles based architectural design practice that combines contemporary design with local, site-specific aesthetics.
Erfan Zamani and Hideyo Kameda are the co-founders of ZAKA Studio, a Los Angeles based architectural design practice that combines contemporary design with local, site-specific aesthetics. As a minority lead design practice, each brings diverse technical backgrouns and cultural sensibilities into their creative approach.
Established after both completing UCLA's graduate architecture program in 2020, ZAKA has worked in residential, commercial, and non-profit projects at multiple scales, as well as coordinated/managed projects with other practices.
They are both current lecturers at OTIS College of Art and Design in the Environmental Design department.
